SHWASH works out of vehicles, not a shop. A detailer drives to wherever your car already sits, brings water and power along, and does the full job there. That covers most of the Austin metro, and the list below is the specific towns with a page of their own.

Distance matters less than access here. A driveway in Wimberley and a garage space off Congress get the same setup, because nothing is drawn from the building. What we need to know when you book is where the vehicle will be parked and roughly how long it stays put.

What on-site detailing deals with here

Central Texas is hard on cars in two directions at once. Cedar pollen and oak catkins settle on paint through the spring, limestone dust blows off every construction site in the hill country, and interiors bake through a summer of triple digits until the dash starts to dry out. On-site work handles all of that at the house, so the car is not sitting in a lot somewhere across town while you wait on a call.

Cities we cover

Travis County

In Travis County we run everything from the lake communities to the small cities inside the city: Bee Cave, Del Valle, Lago Vista, Lakeway, Manor, Pflugerville, Rollingwood, Sunset Valley, West Lake Hills.

Williamson County

North of the river, Williamson County covers the growth corridor up US-79 and 183: Anderson Mill, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Hutto, Jollyville, Leander, Liberty Hill, Round Rock, Taylor.

Hays County

South down I-35 and out into the hill country, Hays County includes: Buda, Dripping Springs, Kyle, San Marcos, Wimberley.

Bastrop County

East of Austin, through the Lost Pines and the farm roads around them: Bastrop, Elgin.

Burnet County

And west along the lake, into Burnet County: Spicewood.

What a detail includes

Interior work is a two-stage vacuum, steam cleaning across the dash, console and door cards, hot water extraction through carpets and cloth seats, and leather cleaned and conditioned. Exterior work starts with a decontamination pre-soak, then a hand wash, wheel wells, rims and tires cleaned and dressed, and a high-gloss spray wax. Interior only and interior plus exterior are both available, and the add-ons are chosen at booking.

Common questions

Do you need our water or an outlet?

No. The van carries its own water tank and power supply, which is what makes acreage properties west of town and apartment lots downtown equally workable.

Can you come to an office park?

Yes, and it is a common request along the tech corridors. Tell us where the vehicle is parked and whether the lot is covered, and check with your property manager if the building restricts contractor access.

How far ahead should we book?

A few days is usually enough. Vehicles parked under oaks or cedar during pollen season tend to need attention every one to two months rather than once a season.

Booking

Booking is the same anywhere on this list: pick the vehicle size, choose interior or interior and exterior, and give us a date. A full detail runs 1.5 to 2.5 hours. If your town is not named here, the Austin page covers the wider metro, and pricing is the same across it.
