The Dallas-Fort Worth cities SHWASH covers across Dallas, Collin, Denton and Tarrant counties, and what to expect on the day.
Across the metroplex a detail usually means dropping the car somewhere and arranging a ride back. SHWASH removes that part. A detailer drives to the vehicle, works where it is parked, and leaves when it is finished.
Below is every DFW city with a page of its own, grouped by county. Each page lists the neighborhoods covered there and the conditions that show up on cars in that part of the metroplex.
Blackland clay is the local signature. It turns to a gray film on paint after rain, blows off construction sites through the northern counties in dry weather, and gets tracked into carpets on shoes all year. Add highway film from the tollway and the LBJ, hard water spotting off sprinkler systems, and hail seasons that leave everyone parking outdoors, and paint here picks up more than a rinse will shift.
Dallas County, from the Park Cities out to the lake suburbs: Addison, Balch Springs, Carrollton, Coppell, Duncanville, Farmers Branch, Garland, Highland Park, Irving, Richardson, Rowlett, Sachse, University Park.
North through Collin County, along US-75 and the tollway: Allen, Anna, Celina, Fairview, Frisco, Lucas, McKinney, Melissa, Murphy, Parker, Plano, Princeton, Prosper, Wylie.
Northwest into Denton County and the lake towns: Argyle, Aubrey, Corinth, Denton, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Little Elm, The Colony, Trophy Club.
And on the Tarrant County side: Arlington.
An interior detail runs a two-stage vacuum, steam cleaning, hot water extraction through carpets and cloth, and leather cleaned and conditioned. An exterior detail runs a decontamination pre-soak, a hand wash, wheel wells, rims and tires, and a high-gloss spray wax to finish. Book them together or separately.
That is how a lot of these appointments run. Leave the keys or leave the vehicle unlocked, tell us where it is parked, and go back inside.
Clay dust and highway film settle on the finish and bond in the heat. The pre-soak breaks that bond first, so the wash takes it off instead of dragging it across the surface.
The cities listed above are the ones with a page of their own. If yours is not on the list, ask when you book and we will tell you straight whether it is on a route.
Same booking either way: vehicle size, the package you want, and a date. A full interior and exterior detail takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, interior only about an hour and a half. The Dallas page covers the metroplex as a whole, and pricing applies across every city listed here.
